WoofbertVR goes to IFA in Berlin

WoofbertVR traveled to Berlin, Germany in early September to attend the 2015 IFA, the premiere global trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances.  The latest products and innovations were presented to over 245,000 visitors from around the world.

Hand-selected by Samsung to be the only non-gaming Virtual Reality (VR) content provider at the Samsung IFA booth, WoofbertVR debuted an education app focusing on art and culture.   Visitors to the Samsung pavilion could sit down, slip on a GearVR headset, and visit The Courtauld Gallery.  It was time travel at VR’s finest—with WoofbertVR allowing viewers instant access from Berlin to London via our app.

While at IFA, Elizabeth L. Reede, WoofbertVR’s President and COO, met with Federico Guerrini from Forbes.com.  We are grateful that he penned this insightful article about the potential of WoofbertVR entitled: Netflix For The Arts: New Samsung Gear VR App Aims to Make Virtual Access to Museums Mainstream.
